Dr. Patrick Avedissian, DC has been dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal health and well-being since beginning his chiropractic practice in January 1998. A graduate of chiropractic school in 1997, Dr. Patrick further expanded his expertise by earning his certification in Applied Kinesiology in 2002. With nearly three decades of clinical experience, he brings a comprehensive, individualized approach to patient care, combining chiropractic principles with functional assessment and holistic healing.

As the founder of Avedi Health in Venice Beach, California, Dr. Patrick believes that true wellness comes from understanding the interconnected relationship between the body’s structural, chemical, and emotional systems. His approach focuses on identifying and addressing underlying imbalances rather than simply treating symptoms. Through chiropractic adjustments, Applied Kinesiology, myofascial techniques, and personalized therapeutic strategies, he helps patients restore function, improve mobility, reduce discomfort, and support their body’s natural ability to heal.

Dr. Amanda Ortiz, DAOM, L.Ac is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and licensed acupuncturist in the state of California. She holds a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine and a Doctoral degree specializing in Healthy Aging and Longevity.

Her clinical practice is rooted in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, integrating acupuncture, cupping, and therapeutic manual techniques to address musculoskeletal conditions and support general wellness. Dr. Amanda considers the interconnected nature of the body, drawing upon traditional methods of care to promote balance, movement, relief, healing, and health.

In addition to her clinical training, Dr. Amanda has certifications in Holistic Nutrition, Yoga, and Pilates. She also contributes to the clinical education of acupuncture students, providing guidance in acupuncture techniques and the practical application of patient care.

An artist and writer at heart, Dr. Amanda maintains interest in the relationship between the body, nature, and the cultivation of well-being. Her approach to healthcare reflects an appreciation for the foundation of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the importance of thoughtful patient care centered on the individual.

Though her private practice is independent, Dr. Amanda joined the space in 2024, where her background in Traditional Chinese Medicine complements the broader philosophy of integrative healthcare at Avedi Health.
